The inclement weather text notifications are housed on a separate list from the School Messenger texts that schools send home or BusPlanner which sends bus delays or cancellations. It is open to families, students, community members, and local businesses and organizations.
Individuals interested in receiving inclement weather text notifications can sign-up by completing these two steps:
- Register your phone number on the inclement weather list at: https://www.ccrce.ca/school_information/inclement_weather
- Opt-in to receive text messages from our service provider by texting Y to the shortcode 978338. You should receive a confirmation text from School Messenger.
